The blade is 4 inches long made of Jerry Rados Turkish Twist that I forged to shape. It is flat ground in a bayonet style. The front and rear bolsters are Eggerling Mosaic damascus and the scales are blacklip pearl from my stash, they are 3-1/4 in long. Titanium liners and backbar. I anodized the liners a bronze color and the backbar has been heat colored with a torch to achieve a variety of colors including blues, bronzes and pruples. All of the bolster screws have been hidden for a clean look and I indexed the scale screws and heat colored them gold. Overall length is 9-3/8 inches.

Thanks for looking,
Chuck

That knife is nicer than the one you made me!!
Great knife, Chuck!
Tnx!

Very nice. One negative point: I don't like the hole in the blade. Other than that, a fine knife.

Kind regards,

Jos

that is the most stunning dagger i have ever seen.

the damascus is beautifully complemented by the scales.

i would be proud to OWN something so beautiful, let alone have made it myself

Nice dagger, great black lip and cool design. I do however have a question. You made the hole to replace the tumbstud, beautiful or not the idea is great. But why not make the knife ambidextrous at the same time. The way I look at it that would have been "relatively" easy and would have given the knife an even greater WOW factor.

Marcel,
Because the knife is a symmetrical dagger I wanted to keep the handle as symmetrical as possible. Grinding away a relief on both sides to make it ambidextrous would put a big finger grove in the handle. This would then require me to try to do the same to the backbar side of the knife. There was just not enough room to do this because the knife has a full backbar.

Very slick. And you may want to grab a bucket of water - that blacklip is on fire!

One of my favorites of yours Chuck. Dagger blade, black lip and well designed is hard for me to not drool over.

Very nice work and the hidden screws under the bolsters are an excellent touch to the design and flow.
