Ok, It may not be fancy, but I thought it was cool, I made one for myself, then someone saw it wanted one, made another, another person saw it wanted one. I finally said this is the last one! I'm am knifemaker!

Nice work purhaps you could incorperate a blade for skinning and gutting the flys we have a real problem over here with flys they have been reports at the pub about ones big enough to carry of a sheep.

What steel did you use?
Hows the temper?
How many flys can you destoy before you need to refurbish?
Does it fit the hand well?

Yes I made the handle out of stainless rod, what a pain to twist the stuff, I had to flatten it on the anvil once I got it bent.

OK, I know you said that was the last one but, man, that looks like it would outlast the cheapo plastic swatters by 50X! Out of curiosity, what would you charge for something like that - I'm interested! The last plastic swatter I had broke in 2 places while swatting at a wasp on the back porch; haven't replaced it yet!

Rene: You should make a SS insert for it so when you are done swatting flies, you can flip burgers with it.

Rene, I think ole Indian George may be on to something here. Have you thought about damascus instead of stainless? You could flip burgers and kill flies with one implement. The damascus would just give it class and only knifemakers would want a second burger. Yes, I know Geroge has strange ideas, but I like the hot relish he makes, so I have to agree with him.

Check is in the mail for one of your plain super swatters! At the present time I won't require a SS or Damascus insert for 'burger flippin' but it's great to know it's an option!

Just received your fantastic creation! This is the best fly swattin' whacker I've ever had the pleasure to own! If this El Terminator doesn't last the rest of my natural life, I'll eat ****! I'm almost sorry I didn't order the model with the SS hamburger flipper, but my taste buds aren't prepared for that combination yet! Thanks, again!
