Fantastic new way to sharpen with an Edge Pro

Sounds good. I've been using the collar for a few years now. I'll have to give this a try.

I too use the collar. But this looks helpful too.

I did the full hookup.
4 magnets, Spring, and collar. Might as well get some washers

Thanks, this is cool. I have a bunch of knives, nothing to sharpen them with, and no actual skill necessary to sharpen. My only experience with sharpening was watching my father use a "spit" stone to sharpen his knives, especially his buck 110. So I am inclined to pick up an edge pro or something similar to make it easier on myself.

No. It is a way to be able to set the angle precisely what it was at the last sharpening, and a way to be able to adjust the angle precisely to adjust for differences in stone depth.
