Just wanted to share with you folks that may have trouble getting a good edge on your axes/hatchets/ hawks. I bought and am using the Work Sharp Sharpener. This thing is incredible on my large Busse's and my hawks. I bought it at Sportsmans Wearhouse, and have been using it constantly. I don't have fantastic sharpening skills on my throwing hawks, but this tool makes it a breeze. It puts a 40 degree inclusive, convexed edge on my hawks. My hawks will now shave leg hair, and slice printer paper. The edge is strong, and I personally think a convex edge on an axe/ hatchet/ hawk is perfect.
Just passing on some info to folks that are like me: "sharpening challenged" with there axes.
Hope this helps.
