With all the Umnumzaan vs. Sebenza talk, I got to thinking...why not combine both!

The resulting Umnubenza...or Sebnumzaan would be amazing I think.

I'm curious to see what features everyone would want to keep.




For me:


Umnumzaan features
Blade Profile
Glass Breaker
Pivot
Perforated Washers
Ceramic Ball Lock Interface
Lanyard Pin


Sebenza features
Bushing
Blade Stop
Double Thumb lug (w/o rubber stop)
Handles (micarta inserts for me!)



I'd like the thumb studs not to double as a blade stop
I would want the titanium handles to be thick like the Umnumzaan
Not sure if the handles would be Regular/Classic/21
The portion of the blade not a part of the scraper edge would be crowned like the Seb



Obviously, both are great knives, and I don't want this to turn into another VS. thread, so lets just let ourselves dream, and remember:

Hmmm......My Umnumzaan is on order, but I did handle one at a gunshow so I'll let my imagination run for a bit

Now, the handle would be in the shape of the Sebbie 21, but with the cross grind of the umnumzaan. It would be thick like the umnumzaan but nice and tapered like the 21 handle.

The pivot would have the bushing system but with the umnumzaan's beefiness.

The blade would have dual thumb studs that would still act as a "shock absorber" but would have more grip on them (the umnumzaan's studs are a little smooth). The blade shape would resemble that of the Regular Sebenza but with the umnumzaan's thickness.
