Fantasy Or Reality? That is my question? Does it really matter if I served or not? And does it really affect your reality? I just know that we live in a stressful society; And that sometimes just to survive we have to fall into fantasy if for but a moment!

It is Christmas and I couldn't buy my family the things I wanted I was angry! Regretably I dove into this fantasy if nothing else to escape for a brief moment. I didn't realize that I didnt have freedom of speech.

Nor did i realize their were such immature little boys here that who love to tattle (grow up) and before you go throwing stones at me look at yourself for once.

you might find a few skeletons in your closet as well.

As to the integrity of the forum; I appologize!

Burafan-- you seem like a nice guy. I think people in this forum accept you for who you are as a real person. Just be yourself. Also, don't let the holiday season get you down. Enjoy spending time with your family. It's not about gifts, it's about being with the ones you love. My mother passed away two years ago on Christmas eve. This year my wife went crazy and got me all kinds of cool presents, but I'll tell you what, I'd give them all up in an instant just to be able to give my mom a hug and tell her I love her. Enjoy what you have. There will always be more things to buy next year, and I'm sure your financial situation will have improved by then.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate this!
I've never been so down in my whole life.
I wanna die every wakening moment.
I feel like I've let everyone down

Thankyou

You have plenty of freedom of speech, what you do not have is freedom to lie. Like I said in your other thread, I know guys who bled and watched friends die in Africa. You disrespect them all by claiming to be one of them without paying the dues required. How it can be called "tattling" to call a lie a lie I do not know.

On the plus side, you've admitted what you did wrong. Tell the truth from here on out and people will forgive this episode.

We've all dishonored ourselves or had embarassing things happen that we would rather not have see the light of day at one time or another. Just try to make yourself a better man/person in the future. We're all both cowards and heros. It all depends on the circumstance.

Just be careful about what yous say here - even in a harmless flight of fancy. There are those of us here who have seen the elephant in one form or another and don't appreciate being made light of.

As for me, that post you made just made me think you were one weird duck. That is all.

This is not the kind of place where bitter knives sit in the bleachers waiting for someone to make a mistake so they can let blood. There is a high standard of honesty here, however. By admitting your foolish words you have done much to clean the slate.

Look Burafan, every one of us has had at one time or another, so very little, both personally and professionally, that we were close to non-existence or beyond. Facing such moments changes you forever.
Calling some, 'little boys' only temporarily relieves you from the burdon of the truth, and really, mitigating your mistake or casting aspertion on others does nothing for you or us.

I guess in the end, Yvsa said it right.

You will find that should you be honest enough to change it will be noticed and has been duly recorded.

WE've all said stupid things.
