Let's dispense with laws for a minute. For the sake of argument let's say that a state or anarchy had broken out and you ahd to fend for you and yours without the help of the government or the police. There are no laws save those we make ourselves. How would you outfit yourself weapon wise. I won't limit it at all. Any kind of weapon you want. Let's keep it somewhat reality based however. What kind of knives,swords,guns or other range weapons would you keep with you?
I look forward to reading these posts.
 
well, I have a .357 sitting in my closet and a poor quality 9mm carbine.
Their is a .380 and a few .22lr weapons in my fathers pile of gear in the basement.

I'd want to get another pistol, at least 9mm, a few mags and at least 200 rounds of ammo. Next I'd want a shotgun or .223 or .308 calibur weapon. If I still had my vest, id wear that too.

I'd want to start making things that explode, and i would booby trap my property.

linking up with others is a good plan. team mates in a firefight are good to have.

Well ok totally fantasy land though.

First off lets figure that I am built good and not a little overweight.

From the ground up

GI Issue combat boots ( I like them )
depending on the weather BDUs
my throwing knives attached to my boots
on my belt, bowie and .44 mag
cartridge belt
BDU jacket
bandana
Boonie cap
45-70 buffalo gun
sawed off 12 gauge in back pack rig
back pack with supplies
kukri
winchester .44 mag

This is rediculous I would fall over

Funny when I go cowboy action shooting I carry a lot but doesnt seem to crazy

Ah, this will be fun!

H&K 91 (full auto, 30 round mags) with a 10X scope.
H&K MP5SD (full auto) with a Trijicon ACOG 3x24 "scope".
Glock 18 (2pcs, one for backup).
Ron Gaston fighter (overall:10inches).
Spyderco, Police, serrated (Ti, black blade).
ASP baton.
Nylon cuffs (lets see, maybe 100pcs).

Anarchy, is not that just one word for the phrase "the survival of the fittest"?

I would also have to hire a person to keep track of all the valuables that the sheep and sheepasites are going to pay me for protection. At last the time spent studying self-preservation will pay off!

Gee, never really thought about it, but,,,

Full length leather trench coat.(many pockets, plus a bit of knife protection.)

My three foot Machete (Bolo)

Two Balisongs

Throwing Knives

And possibly a katana...

Im not big on guns, so if that were too happen i would have to pick one up, or else i would probably last all of five minutes

I cut mine short earlier because I figured out something

I couldnt carry everything I would need

Remember one thing people
Total anarchy means you need shelter food water and fire as well as protection.

We need to throw in there stuff other then weapons just to live
