I've been doing some research on the Fantoni CUT....... [NOT A DEALER HERE].......... Does anyone have 1 and how do you like it.

I've watched a few vids about it. The 02 is too small for hand and the 01 is a little bigger knife than I need......my Millies are big enough.

From everything I've read the quality on Fantoni's is as good as the quality of CRK's. That may be a matter of opinion tho.

I have had a Fantoni CUT flipper for a month or so (just a guess) and I am very impressed with the ergonomics. The stonewash finish has a bit of a polish to it, which looks great. Size, texture, and overall look are all pluses in my book. The only thing holding it back is the fact that they used washers - the action is rather stiff, which keeps the knife from being what I consider a good flipper. Practically speaking, if you want a nice EDC, you'll never have any trouble flipping it open with a little wrist action, but I strongly believe bearings should have been in the budget at $300.

On par with CRK...eh, I don't really think I'd draw that comparison. Not that there's anything wrong with the build of the Fantoni, but because I don't know of anything you can really compare to a Sebenza without ultimately realizing you're comparing apples to oranges. The Sebenza is probably the most precisely built folding knife on the market, and the blade grind is ingenious, unique, and difficult to do. The CUT is just a different type of knife....liner lock vs frame lock, flat grind (I believe) vs. hollow, etc. If you're talking strictly in durability, I wouldn't know - I would suspect competing with a Sebenza in that regard is a tall order, but I'm also confident the Fantoni could probably take more abuse than any of my knives will ever see.
