Does anybody know if Fantoni Dweller is discontinued?
Can't find it in stock for a while now.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am looking for one in juniper wood, would really appreciate if you can help me find it. I have one in snakewood and really like it.

Thanks.

Didn't Fantoni Knives go out of business?
Yup, I believe it was in January or February of this year that the family behind Fantoni announced that they were ceasing all knife making operations. The makers are at retirement age with nobody stepping in to keep the business going.

What’s in stock is all that will ever be in stock. It motivated me to track down the small Fantoni Harsey I’ve always wanted.

Edit: it was actually January of 2019. Here’s the announcement from one of their distributors:

As of January 2019, Fantoni Knives is going out of business. It is undecided at this time as to what the Fantoni family will do. They may come back and begin production of knives, but this is only one of their options. They have said that the current line of knives will no longer be produced. If you want a Harsey, Dweller, or Hide knife, now is the time to act.

The Dweller is a ripoff of the Loveless designed folding City Knife they made for Lonewolf. The City knife had a special steel designed for Loveless & Lonewolf by Sadvick. After Loveless and Lonewolf died, Fantoni made some minor changes and called it the Dweller, not giving Bob credit. But Loveless and Lonewolf let Fantoni put their mark on the City Kinfe, which is unusual for a contreat made knife. The real deal is a better design and knife. It is often available in the resale market.
