Does anyone have a fixed blade Rumici Hide or have a opinion?

I'm about to buy one, but it's a lot of money for a knife, just under $300 here. My reasoning is it's good steel, italian made and looks awesome.

Would love to hear anyones review before I pull the trigger, I've got until monday because I'm ordering online so it'll make no difference. No where around here stocks Fantoni so no chance of handling one..

Didn't know they made a fixed blade version. What's the steel? I've been after one of the folders for a while but they're about as common as chicken teeth over here. $300 is a lot for a fixed blade of that size but if you like it and don't have a problem spending that much on it then go for it.

looks to be s30v with micarta. Im not really one for fixed blades but that looks really nice even I would consider getting that.

Its a tiny bit cheaper than the folder here. I prefer the fixed. It is S30V and micarta. There are some very nice wood scales also available, I've emailed Fantoni and they say they have a couple they could sell through a dealer and I will be in italy in a couple months time.

Wow, can't believe I've never seen one of those before. That is a really attractive knife

I've received mine now and I'm very pleased with it!

There's a review here with loads of pictures.

I love those Fantoni's. I'd love to get the $30V HB-02. $235 is just too steep for me. Better check my lottery ticket.:D

Very nice looking. Congratulations. I've been waiting for the Hide folder to be in stock at one of the dealers that carries Fantoni in the US. I did not know there was a fixed blade version. Very tempting. Thanks for the great review. Mike
