The BK-08 section of the FAQ was updated. Figured I'd put it here as well for discussion and so forth.

Enjoy this piece of Becker history. Long may we forget it :)

from Ethan Becker: '''The helicopter egress tool (I had no idea it was called that) was developed under the hands of that great student of the cutlery arts and crafts, Phillip Gibbs....I was told after the fact (NOT Gibbs's fault) that it was supposed to have the same size "envelope" as the classic PILOT SURVIVAL knife. After looking once again at the aesthetic abomination that blade is, I am fervently hopefull that Phil's time spent at the feet of one of the great geniuses in our field has sharpened and buffed what I hope is a nascent talent to match both his humor and a genuine genius for things mechanical......'''

from Phil Gibbs: '''The Helicopter Egress was a sample submitted for a Government need. it was a rapidly developed prototype, designed by committee, intended to perform too many tasks in a single design. Ethan Becker was not involved in it, hence the lack of finesse, style and appeal. Cost was surely a factor in it's demise. I believe I made a total of 5 of them.'''

That is coool a student did that! It is kind of fantasy because helicopters break apart when they crash. I saw Dogggorunning's channel on you tube.
