Forgot...I think it's Dan Gray that has a bunch of tutorial on his site....they are linked to his signature, I think.
 
half the fun of this stuff is you get a pretty general answer and then you get to invent ways to apply ideas to your own situation. besides everyone here loves to answer questions so just ask

Dan Grey has a list of tutorials, and I've got probably about 50 or so (honest numbers) helpful tutorials, links, etc. in my favorites if you want to see them.

My bad...
Should you ever make some sort of crazy uber-blade, you'll be promoted to Dan White...not sure if that's much better though.

I am A white Gray so that makes me 3/4 the way there now:confused: :)
 
Never considere that...
Ya know, if you were a real knife maker, you be covered in all sorts of colors other than white. You would be stained by the woods, dyes, metal dust, burn etc.
You've been demoted from Dan 3/4White to Dan Gray... end of discussion.
