Anyone has a Farid K2 with lock stick?

Anyone send it back to Spyderco?

Mahalo!

Did you try some pencil lead or permanent marker on the lock face? Normally helps until the lock sets properly.

Good suggestion. The graphite on the pencil will "lubricate" the lock so it will smoothen the action.

Mine was a bit sticky out of the box but wore in quickly and perfectly. I believe it was what was wanted by the designer and not a problem of manufacturing. It's a really amazing knife and one I never thought I'd see in a production version. Imagine trying to buy a production folder like that made of 10V 5 to 10 years ago. Heck, the tolerances and fit and finish we see on those Taiwan Spyderco knives itself is a few steps forward as well.

Anyway, if the knife doesn't break in properly or if you think it's defective then send it back. You will be taken care of unless you have tampered with it. Even then you will be helped but it might cost you which is only fair.
