Farid Mehr folders

Just saw one of Farid's folders at Nordic Knives and looks a sturdy design. Am thinking of getting one. Has anybody any experience with his work or own one of his folders?

Laci Szabo showed me one - the RAD - of his design - and it felt like a tank. Probably the strongest folder I ever saw.

Andrew,
I met Ferid last year at the Blade Show and enjoyed checking out his knives. Put it this way.....They make the Buck Strider seem WIMPY!! They are the heaviest duty folders on the face of the earth, PERIOD

Obviously they are not for everyone and deifinitly not as user friendly as something like a sebenza. IF you want a BOMB PROOF folder, Farid makes them. He also makes some WILD fixed blades. As a Hawkbill NUT, I would like to ad one of his to my collection!!
