Farm Knives, HOW OFTEN?

I've seen maybe 2 of these so far, and the blade just speaks to me.
It's not the typical HI blade as its not a kukri
but how often to these come around? Can you order one normally Auntie?
Can't help but think that it looks like its just begging to be in a kitchen working.
 
They come up rather infrequently recently; however, I bet you could order one from auntie.
 
I see one about every month or two, they are not totally uncommon like a munk chunk or falcata
 
They do seem to be one of those items that is periodically more available, and then isn't available for a while, at least when it comes to deals of the day. It does seem to me that certain items are like that. For example, there was a period of lots of Trisuls, but the last Trisul to come up in a DOTD was 10/22.
 
A lot of "special" items are made in batches, and are available when they are here, and then you need to wait for thje next batch to arrive, "when" is the question.
 
As for Kitchen work theyre not meant for cutting through bone, right?
so I dont know if you want to replace a Chinese Cleaver with it so I have a hard time thinking about where it goes..

that being said, all the ones Ive seen are real pretty
 
lol I have a Kukri for cutting through bone!
I want the Farm knife for the rest of the work it looks like an amazing shape
 
There are two styles of knives from HI that just scream to be TWEAKED!

One is the FARM knife, the other Is the HI Bowie!

One of these days I will give it a try.
