hi im a farmer and was thinking about getting a multitool so i wouldnt have to pull out the tool box all the time.Iwould like a recommendation:confused:on what to get

Lm crunch or ST300 or Rebar. I suggest these because I assume you will be working in the dirt and grease these tools have minimal places for grit and grime to hide out.

+1 , tilting toward the Super Tool 300. It is big, tough and simple, best in a work environment. The Rebar is almost identical in tool loadout, but smaller. That makes it (slightly) easier to carry, but larger eats dirt better. IMHO, the Rebar is better for urban carry or leisure time.

Leatherman really needs to make a farmer or rancher edition

Victorinox Swisstool. You'll need to belt carry it, but it will do anything.

what about the gerber 600??

Gerber was my very first multitool.... Many years ago.... Gave me so many pinched palms and blood blisters from its early design I finally had enough and gave it to my mother in law.... Haven't been able to reconcile with Berbers since. I'm sure they fixed that problem by now

Get an sog powerlock... You'll love it! I've had one since I was 13. Honestly it's simpler and more solid then a leather man

I suggest the leatherman crunch but since your a famer i suggest that you pair up your Leatherman with the Farmer Swiss Army Knife. Just in case you have a task that would require the use of a pocketknife instead of the leatherman.

Great pocket knife, but just because it is called the Farmer doesn't mean it's the best choice for farm work. If you're looking at Vics, the OH Trekker is bigger and better suited for semi-serious work ("serious" requires dedicated tools). Try it and you will understand why the Swiss Army adopted it as the replacement for their previous Soldier (Farmer w/o saw).

I went to work and forgot my tool pouch. it was in my car and not the truck. my gerber got me threw the day working as a electricain. I dont know what I would of done with out it.

If you will be cutting wire fence with this multitool then I would suggest a Leatherman that has the replacable cutter blades like the Super Tool 300. A dedicated wire cutter is a better way to go.
