Farmageddon 2013, October 4th-6th 2013 Abingdon, Il somewhere near the Victory Tavern.

Thursday October 3rd. New Jersey. Rental car. 5:00 AM ready to go. 20 minutes of fighting with the dome light which resulted in me punching the dome light and an accidental call to On-star. On-star was no help with the dome light.

Maryland 8:20. Rental car broke down on I-70. 2 hours lost waiting for the truck. I wish I had a picture of the tow truck drivers face when I pulled 2 bags of assorted weapons and archery gear out of the trunk in the Enterprise parking lot. The new rental car had Canadian plates and all the gauges were set for metric.



I made up the lost time by not spending three hours in the West Virginia Cabelas. Rain in Ohio still on I-70.



How many times are we going to hear Lady Gaga On this trip? Sam Spam lives for the applause.



 


I made a wooden button to replace the snap on this sheath.



Saturday AM. A little rain late last night.







 


Making whistles out of soda cans. I played with the Les Stroud knife. It’s not bad for a first impression.

Saturday afternoon we had a Crawdad cookout. Did I say that right? Or it just a Crawdad?
