Farmer alox malfunctioning?

Just picked up a farmer alox silver from amizon. The saw when i open it the first half inch makes a clicking noise and closing half inch before closed, is this normal? Also the silver around the edges where it lines up with the SS looks like it is waring off, is that normal its not pealing just visable.
 
yes thats normal from amazon lol. i suggest check with the warranty by victorinox in your country, the list is on theyr website.
 
It was just when i open it i tend to pull to the side slightly and the saw grinds on the knife softly.
