Here are a couple of my latest projects, I have just recently taken interest into making my own knives and am kind of getting the hang of things. My plunge lines need a little work to get them cleaner, but all in all I am satisfied with how they turned out. I love the look the file teeth give the blades.

this one will most likely become my new skinning/gutting knife. I like how the maple handle turned out

this one's handle is made out of some black walnut we had chopped down a while back, destined to be firewood

My favorite of the bunch. rear hook, 'cause it looks cool :p stamped my initials into it.

front pin on this side gave me a little grief, the handle is made out of oak with a walnut stain. fits right into my BK7 sheath so that is convenient.

All of the grinding was done freehand on a 2x42 craftsman with a piece of tile that hooks over the back acting as my square edge, it works ok. It makes sense that a jig might help me clean up my plunge lines. i would love to see some examples of jigs you guys use that would be relatively easy to make myself.

Thanks for looking,
Trogdorr
