Hi everyone 
Today i finished this chopper bowie in "wild west/frontier" style I hope you will like it
Last year, I managed to “re-cyclate” a pretty big pile of bog oak, that was originaly part of the medieval bridge . The wood comes from the channel of the Morava river and was discovered during the reconstruction of the bridge at Gorazd square in Olomouc city. The dating of the bridge is determined by silver coins around year 1300 AD . The wood is very hard and compact. The color vary from the brown/ very dark chocolade brown to the black ones Such a small treasure!

Blade - Damascus steel 1,2842 (O2) + 75ni8 Uddeholm (15N20)
Guard/pommel - patinated mild steel , central part of the guard is hardened steel 1.2767. It is something like L6 steel but bit stronger .
Handle - Ancient bog oak, originaly base of mediavel bridge , around year 1300 . You can find some more info and pictures on my FB or instagram
Average length - 33,5 cm (approx- 13,2 inches) , blade - 19 cm (approx- 7,5 inches).
Blade width at widest point 53 mm (approx 2,1 inches )mm , blade thickness max 5,5 mm (0,217 inches)
