Fascine knife

Did this for an old friend who is a French & Indian war reenactor. 10" blade, distalled from 3/8" to 3/16", 16-1/2" OAL. 38 ounces. Thought you lot would get a kick out of it. As it came off the buffer, it wouldn't just shave arm hair. It'll shave whiskers.

Cool Knife JW! Looks like something phillll would make:thumbup: I really need something like that on a stick about 32" long to keep the goosefoot weeds down. Great job!

Thanks man. It's what was issued to 18th century troops for building fortifications and such. If you put one on a long haft make it lighter than this...

Love the look of the knife JW. It has a utilitarian yet artful look to it. Great work as usual, I have to get a blade made by you. I really want a Karmabit or something along those lines.
