Just thought I would pass along some quick info. Since there is a thread started here on cleaning wooden handled folders I thought I would pass on some simple/quick/not so impressive cleaning tips, that are for when you are in a rush and may only be suitable for non-wood scales. I have acess to dozens of different possible cleaners at work, typical of any machine or simular shops. Anyway, one way I found to clean my Sebenza and Vaquero Grande (current EDC's) are as follows.

1:Take carb cleaner, spray the entire knife down with it. inside the handles, pivot, blade, ect.

2: Use compressed air, (about 100 psi) and blow out the pivot and rest of knife. Your knife is now VERY clean and dry in about one minute.

3: Lube the knife with a lube of your choice. Sometimes I just spray the entire knife down with WD40 and wipe/sling off the excess.

Total time: about three minutes. Good for when your in a rush, and best suited for your hard use knives.
