It is difficult to find a photo of all compared together, but what is a quick rundown on differences between Gelbu Special, Sirupati, Chitlangi and Kobra? If given that all were same length, 18 inch for example. I've gathered there are obviously some cosmetic differences, and some difference in handle length, but what else?

Oh, and I did check out the FAQ section of the HI site regarding blade angles, but the Kobra isn't listed on the dynamics page.

gelbu = most heavy duty out of the above imo (has a very nice balance & is well known to be a very solid performer)
sirupate and chitlangi = besides handle differences the chitlangi is pretty much a double fullered siru (delimbing, brush clearing and some light chopping) i like the chit handle more and the fullers are a + :p
kobra = the lightest and fastest of the above not really built for bush work but capable of light work (but more martial arts)
with the exception of a few that were forged a bit thick ;)

and dont forget the chainpuri = lightest and fastest of them all
this one imo is best suited for martial arts... imo over the kobra even :D

thats just my 2cents... im sure more experienced members will chime in with their advice

Thanks, that helps me narrow my next purchases down to the Gelbu and the Chitlangi (for the bell shaped handle and fullers over the sirupati).
