I won't out him unless he wants to be outed, but I sent a few ad knives to a fine gentleman here on the forum. He sent me this beauty in return and I've been meaning to post pics. Dental drama intervened. It has spent a lot of time in my pocket. What a brilliant knife. Camillus made if I'm not mistaken (gotta love Camillus). Thank god for the small crack around the lanyard hole or I wouldn't be able to bring myself to carry it (came with box and papers!). I love this knife. It's been helping my SBJ out and I haven't carried my Leek in my back pocket since I got it. What's happening to me?!?!

Many thanks to the mysterious benefactor who I owe a few more knives to. This bullet bambino is the sweetness.

I've got one of those too. Mine has a crack at the top scale pin on the mark side. But it's a wonderful knife regardless. I seriously doubt that crack at the lanyard bushing will ever give you a problem. Nice knives!! - Ed J

I ain't sweating it a bit. :)

Had one with box & paper, even the poster at one time. Poster went one way, sold the knife. Wish I had both back.

I love those Camillus made Remingtons. Solid, attractive, just knice. Happy for you.

Thanks, I agree. I have never had a Camillus made knife that wasn't a pleasure to use. Real nice snap on this one.

Those are great knives. IMHO they seem to have a feeling of quality. Mine had fairly strong springs, but was still smooth, and it also has very positive half stops.
The chances of finding one with absolutely no cracks in the scales is not very good. I'm not sure why they had so much problem with that scale material cracking.

Camillus doesn't get as much attention as other companies, but they really did make a nice product, and most were reasonably priced

I have one of those. Carryed it EDC for some years in the 90-ties. Its a sturdy knife for its length making it a little heavy and nowadays I have an issue about delrin made to look like stag. I have had the ide of rescaling it with stabilized curly birch but I cind of want to walue it as is is also as its a mighty strong handle material. Its a very nice knife built to be somebodys EDC for a whole lifetime.

That handle is quite amazing. Gorgeous trapper with gorgeous handles. Great knife, use it well

Thanks guys. And I agree, Mike. Some of my favorite knives are Camillus made. In fact a Camillus Electricians knife (civilian) was what got me back into traditional knives after a few years on the dark side.

Very nice.. I have a pair of these. One gets used , the other is sitting there waiting to take over duties some day. Great knife.
