Fasterfox and BFC?

**CAUTION - Fair amount of ignorance to follow!**

I installed Fasterfox on my browser and I noticed that the pages actually load slower than they used to. I went into the settings for Fasterfox and discovered that the setting it defaults to claims it increases the load on web servers. However, BFC is the only site I've noticed the hangup on. Can somebody explain any of this? It's not a problem at all, but I would like to be edjumacated on how this Fasterfox business interacts with BFC and other sites. In the meantime, I just set it back to default and everything works just like it did before I installed it, with the exception of the load-time counter at the bottom.

I use it and it works fine here for me. Are you using the latest version of firefox and fasterfox?

Yep. Could be my machine, I guess. I tried it again and it's pretty consistent. I turn it on and I get blank white pages trying to load. Turn it off and everything zips along as usual. Can you explain how Fasterfox presents more of a load to a web server? And can a site block or limit things like that that may increase load?
