I opened my war boar today and unwrapped it, admired it for a second and then used it to open another box I received and... you gussed it... cut the tip of my finger on the scalloped back side of the blade... total time? about 20 seconds from unwrapping it to blood on the blade.... must be a new record...

the scary thing is, I didn't even feel it hit my finger., just saw the blood after I put the knife down and started to tpull the lid off....


oh well, I always say a new knife doesn't really feel like its yours untill you cut yourself with it..

now where is that liquid bandage stuff.....

Hahahaha.... thats great... my first Busse (a tan HR) bit me on the way out of the "sheath" I pulled off the mailing sheath, dropped it, and suddenly remembered why you DON'T catch a falling knife... LOL... sliced the very tip of my finger over that one... LOL but i love my hr.... Jim
 
The important question is - did you make sure to clean up any blood that might have gotten on the knife ??! :eek: :)
