Superb knife. There is nothing I don't like about this one. One question though; What the heck is cherry oak? It is a beautiful wood, but one I have never heard of before.

thanks for the kind words gentlemen.....Keith, my supplier tells me she traded this wood for some mesquite to a guy from Louisiana, I'm guessing it's a type of domestic oak that the locals in the bayou there call "cherry" for whatever reason.....maybe someone on the forums from down south can help out here.....
