this thing is too heavy for pockets. i really ca'nt justify any use other than collector or military. if it would'nt mar finish i would show you guys how it could be thrown against brick wall & still function perfect . please do'nt put me in catagory as the guy whom hits knives with a sledge hammer.i also have a 2006 model & its still as tight as the new one.in truth i got it for a conversation article. my brother is always showing his hand forged beauties & i just had enough & had to let him see something not in his collection.

what kind of steel is the blade? and how much does that guy weigh? i am trying to compare it to a boker jim burke "mini" resurrection that weighs about 10 ounces.
