steel ebony--antique walnut--& steel snakewood
the deeper black is hard to see on the steel bolsters but i really like it.in addition the ugly ink on blade has been replaced by stamped logo which i think accents the flowing lines of the blades. hopefully another member can post a better pic of the ebony since my pics are rather poor. the 1st issue of steel ebonies were small in number & whether gec will do this pattern again in the near future is unknown.

I dunno Dennis. I think I like the etch better than the stamping.

But they are pretty blades, whether stamped or etched.

etch looks nice but the stamp makes it looks like more time was put into it. Just my 2cents, great looking knives either way.

I like em. Thanks for the pics. I am kinda hoping I get a toe nail for Christmas. Time will tell.

I think it's neat that they'd use a stamp on a ground surface like that... It makes me wonder whether it's any more difficult to stamp a non-level plane.

Given the typeface I thought maybe they just stuck the blades in an old IBM Selectric and click-clacked away. ;)

I love that snakewood model. Looks really good.
