I love this bloody knife! Just wanted to share some pictures of a little chop at my Dad's place. We have a BEAUTIFUL day here in SE PA, and I can't justify doing anything inside.

Started off with a beautifully thinned convex edge. Ready to rip and tear!

These three trees needed to come down as we are trying to clear his land beyond the fence line.

20 chops in to a medium sized tree

Exactly 4 minutes and 20 seconds later...

This shot shows TWO swipes at a freshy; she bites deep.

And after all the abuse...minimal coating wear and not a single ding, chip, or roll in a VERY thin edge. I almost feel like I am cheating with a Battle Mistress...

Thanks for having a look gentlemen!

Nice pics. Always a great day when your outside and to chop things down is just an added bonus.

Very sweet blade and great user shots!

I have a few questions about it. Are those standard handles? If they are, how do you like the feel of them? Have you held one of the thicker FBM's with mags to compare it to? I have been debating thinner grips for my FBM LE for a while, but I haven't held a thick blade that had them.

Nice repro edge ,looks like one sharp pribar. Cool pics thanks

What he said. Nice edge.

How did you thin the edge? IMHO, most Busse knives benefit from some degree of reprofiling. The cutting/chopping/slicing ability jumps up a lot with better geometry.

Cliff Stamp was fond of saying, "Geometry cuts"

Thanks Tim! Yes, they are standard green linen. I really prefer standards over mags for fatter stock (anything over .25'' thick really). I also have a HOG FSH with standard black canvas. The HOG FSH used to have mags but it was too much for my mitt with the thick stock and thick handles.

The edge was thinned with a belt sander  SCREAMING sharp is an understatement. It always amazes me how sharp INFI will stay even after my chopping sessions. Excellent stuff!

Say,my 4th grade teacher said you have to ask to get. I really like the color combo on that FFBM..........hmmm... would you be... ....can you just give that mistress to me. I don't have one like that and I would really love to see how it feels to own one. I figure it wouldn't hurt to just ask and we are all like family here right? pm incoming with address for shipping. much appreciated bro

Brendan, great pics Bro!!! Looks like the Leprechaun chewed it up and spit it out. Looks like Green Linen scales to, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET...

Just got my first BM in yesterday, a CG, because I love the corrugated blade! But all these FFBM threads have me convinced I "need" one...

Great Pictures:thumbup:

Looks like you had a great time:thumbup:
