Fat Mistresses Arrive...Fat, Heavy, Lovely pics

Just like clockwork Skunk's package made it's way to my doorstep this afternoon. Inside were two Mistresses--the Desert Sage and the Black Magnum.

After handling the ladies, here are my initial thoughts: There is an awful lot of Infi in these knives. The Fat Mistresses are truly obese. As such, they are heavy, but not unwieldy. The black and sage coating seem to be doing all they can to cover all of the steel....kind of like spandex on a VERY large woman. The handles are amazing. The black mags on the fat lady feel soooo good in the hand. Big and happy, definitely not too large. The extra girth on the sage lady makes the camo g10 feel very close in size to the mags on my olive drab with mags. Hope the pics provide some good angles and you can get a feel for dimensions. I dropped my Olive cgfbm in for some comparisons.

These Fat Ladies are made for choppin'.

The black mags "feels" heavier, but also is more balanced in the had.

Nice pics. Great knives. I love the OD blade. Those are dedicated choppers.
I know this is a rather obvious comment but I was surprised to notice that the spine was not thinned near the tip on the new blades as it is on the CGFBM and FBMLE. In any case that's an awsome pile of infi.

Tony--the middle blade is the Sage with Standard scales. What's amazing is the thickness of the blade make the Standards feel a lot like Mags.
