I have to say, despite my leanings toward thinner blades in the shorter models, the FAT Warden is pretty impressive in hand. Though mine came sharp with a nice edge grind, I'm yet to do any slicing with it, but I did use a polishing stone to polish the penetrator tip. I also oiled up the scales a bit. It's one cool pig sticker. Digital caliper pegged it at .271".

I can't believe these are still sitting there at $187.

I'm hoping one will still be there next payday. I was on the fence about this one, but seeing these pics, I think this could be my EDC. I need something like this to assist my fingers and for normal utility when the arthritis flares up. It is at those times I am happy to have a sharpened prybar.;)

Thanks for sharing Guyon!

cool pics Guyon!

maybe i should give the GW another shot... is it the same thickness as the SE wardens from Blade?

those are good pics    maybe i'll try a couple of straight shoots of vodka before i take pictures.

Here's another pic with the penetrator tip seeing some action.

my first impression is that although it's a well made knife, good fit and finish, the edge isn't quite right for a smaller knife. I would bet it's a 60 or so degree edge. Hehehe, I wish mine looked like yours still! :D

This is the first Busse of any size I've gotten and been surprised at its weight. Rockin'!

I am thinking about picking one up this payday as well...you say there are tons of them still available?

After I saw mine I was kicking myself because I didn't get three more:grumpy:

Another action shot involving the penetrator tip...
