You can see where some steel was removed from the sweet spot. There is one small ripple left in the edge but i worked with it some in the yard today and it was blasting limbs like crazy . I cleared a pile of limbs about 6 foot high and 5 foot long, then chopped it into pieces to fit in the barrell stove. Its a monster!

Awesome! Regrettably, much like myself, you may have never interacted will Bill & some of the others who have passed, but now do hold in your possession a blade that has been made after the "magical blade" by a true master, turned into an icon through literature, all made possible by the business created with integrity by a diligent visionary. Now this blade has been brought back to life by an actual Ghurka. That's a pretty special khukuri. It makes me happy to hear it is working well.

For sure. Now im going to treat the neem wood handle so it will outlast me. Picked up some murphys wood soap to get the rouge out of the handle , then im going to tru oil it.

That rouge comes off real easy if you just sand off the edge of the but cap. Go to high grit paper (2000 or so) and that neem really pops with colors.
