My Dad's a cop and with Father's day just a week away, anybody have a suggestion for a Becker he can daily carry? He already has a Crewman he bought when I got mine around '03/'04. I'm thinking a BK2, or a Necker.....

He probably can't carry a BK2 on duty, so my vote goes for the BK11 as well. He can carry it a few different ways & even ITP (inside the pants) with a little inginuity. If you don't mean an on duty knife, then my vote goes for the BK9.

I know you probably want a carry piece but I am thinking as he is a cop (much respect) that the Becker Tac Tool would be a phenomenal tool for him to keep in the car. I am sure it would have billions of applications for a man like him.

Here is a mini one that can be mounted to a pistol. Its basically pornographic. I want one so bad.

Sorry should've mentioned that he already has a TacTool. I got it for him last Christmas. That pistol bayonet while way too mall copish, is making me reach for my wallet a bit. Actually with the carry style, it could go either way. He's a street cop, but also an ERT(SWAT) memebr also, so he could carry a BK2 or a esky depending on the situation.

Then i say BK2 all the way. You can pry with that one with no worries. Baton it into a door lock area & pry. It would be a good test. I threw mine hard into a log last night with my daughter watching & then did exactly what she did to bend her BG knife & had NO damage with the BK2 tip.

I see myself buying all of the aforementioned and then giving him the one I like to hold least. Kind how he got my step-mom, jk.

They sure do (pistol bayonet) look funny, but i would'nt wanna get (sorry, i know this just don't sound right,LOL) poked or prodded with one.

BK2 and Eskabar....

Oh, an "and" , this could end badly and with empty pockets. Speaking of the Esky, I checked into it on the database and the had a pic of it with Micarta scales. Anybody know where to score these?

And in later news, I think I'm ordering a BK9 tomorrow and a BK2 for the woman.

Put a 550 wrap on it.
like this but with a BK14

BK14, since there is a good chance he will have to wear gloves, it has about a quarter inch longer handle. Prolly wouldn't need a bottle opener in that situation anyways. Or Bk2 if he can pull it off. Wish I could wear mine all the time...

Yeah, I'd recommend the Eskabar also. If you want to accessorize it, the micarta scales are made by ESEE, and will fit the BK14 with slight modification. The Ka-Bar TDI belt clip will fit the sheath and was designed for duty belt carry, I believe.

i sure do want one of these tac tul bayonets. cuz they're wicked cool.
