Well, actually one of my Fathers day presents was taking time to make my son a knife that he inspired me to make. Nothing too large, but larger than what he had.
Here is what we came up with. The handle is very nice for guys with larger hands, My son will be a big fella so I dont ever want him to outgrow this knife!!
Blade is 5 1/2" long 11" overall.
Steel on these are 3/16" D2 at 59RC
His is natural canvas micarta
Mine is black and green linen with red liners.

These feel GOOD!!!!
I am thankful today to have the means to do this for him. Many personal reasons, but I am happy to have family to love me and like a few things I happen to do and give me ultimate support!:D

Okay Okay...now to the pictures......

Those are great reasons to be thankful! Happy Fathers Day!!

Happy Father's Day, a fine pair to celebrate with. I too am thankful for my one little group of people who always love and support me.

Beautiful. I especially like the shape of the scales at the ricasso. Just right!

Wow, these knives flow extremely well and I imagine they feel great as well. Very nice design.

Was goint to cut the sheaths out for these today whike I had a couple of extra hours but I was so wrong. The wife wanted the bathroom painted!!! Well...5 hrs later the bathroom was done and my knives are still naked! :)

the women are like that arn't they . I've been locked out of the shop until I finish some projects . Needless to say , I'm working hard to get those projects done .
