similar, but not quite the same.
However, the last church I ministered at, I just happend to "rub off" on some of the members and before too long. One guy began learning to make knives, a a few others who began to buy pockets knives and one of them starting collecting. Hmmmmm..... I have no idea how that happend?
Although it was quite amusing
Most of them had never seen a minsiter carry a pocket knife, especially a hershaw avalanche!!! That was a real shocker fo them!!!
The SAK never drew mouch attention, but the others did. What was especially interesting to them was that I made knives also. A couple years ago one of the members offered me 24 deer legs as handle material. He borught them to church in the winter time and we put them in the snow outside the front doors to "keep them on ice" (literally) and someones asked me, "John what are those?" I said "you really do not want to know Im sure", The person, said, " yes what are they?" I said, "there are 24 deer legs in the bag". The person laughed and said, "no way!" I said, yes, yes way!! In fact you can look if you really want too, but I would not encourage it" Well this person did look, only to regret it :barf: !!!
You no this kind of thing never happend in Arkanasa!!! Never drew any attention, here in Ohio? Different story, different world (I miss the south

)!!!
In Arkansas there would be those at church that left for deer camp right -after the service, it was normal.
Then there were the cook outs!!! Everyone would bring their game in, from fried squirrel to deer stew....just getting hungry thinking of it, hmmm some fried pickles and pickled okra sound good tooo!!!
