Saw one of these, not quite sure of the specs but would it too big for EDC? a little bigger then an HR?

Don't really have any knife laws here just wondering about weight and specs.
 
i would think it may be a bit to big, i would rather carry a ABA (anorexic badger attack) or LMS (leaner meaner street) MS (mean street) AD (active duty) sized knife. but i only say that as it would give me room for a couple more beers. 3 1/2" - 4" is plenty of blade for urban carry IMHO.

I thought so. I ask cause over on the Trade forum, someone has a fatty euro and looking for a swamp rat. i thought might be the right specs for EDC. Haven't been able to finder a Mean Streets anywhere so far. Its a race. Either find a Meaner Streets, or wait for Swamp Rat Tactical HR to come out.
 
I sometimes find myself carrying a Tanker A around town. It's basically the same knife. It's not a fatty. It's 1/4 inch but not really too big to EDC.
Having said that the thicker MS is my new EDC.
Excellent blade.
 
A SHBA is part of my EDC rotation. The OAL is almost exactly the same as the Tanker A/Euro 4. It is also the largest blade I can COMFORTABLY conceal with a untucked shirt. The other 2 are an older MS and a AD. They conceal better and aren't as heavy at the end of a 12 hr day.

It will work, but you would probably be better served with the MS or AD. Especially if it's just the one and not part of a rotation.

and if you wear hemptown hefties, or other heavy long waisted t-shirts that hang straight down (to about the crotch), you can wear dual satin jacks like i do :D :D :D

kinda throws girls off when they try to grab your hips though, that sudden look of confusion that says "wai.... wha..... huh?"



my pants weigh something like 6lbs :rolleyes:
