I like getting a new knife. This one isn't mine, but one like it will be. I liked it immediately after ripping it out of the box. I sat in my truck and sliced an envelope to pieces and used my phone to send Chris a PM that I want one.

2 things I'd change: first, I'd contour the handles a bit more, and second, I'd angle the front of the handle scales toward the blade. That's it. It is sweet, sharp, has a good heft to it, and in the cold winters we have here, I see it performing well while using mittens.

My time with it happened to be a rainy week and a stretch of 6 days in a row of work. I used it once outside and several times in the kitchen. For some reason, my darn photobucket isn't working so the once really awesome pic I took wont upload. Dumb technology. Thank goodness a knife like this doesn't quit...which is why Chris knows I'm ordering one when he gets around to making it. No hurry!
