Will there be FATTY SFNO? :thumbup:

I hate to torture you but there were RARE fatty SFNO's. Sabre grind. Look for them in Black crinkle coat and tiger hide slabs. I got one just by luck back in the day.

They were .27'ish vs. the .22 that was standard. It made a big difference in feel and I preferred it by far. I sold it to a great friend and recently asked for dibs if he ever decided to move it. No regrets :thumbup:
 
The SFNO LE is such a beautiful knife with a great design .. I just wish it had that Busse heft with a thicker blade. the SFNO LE in .270" would have been the bomb

I thought they were black crinkle with magnum snake-skin handles.
 
I'm pretty sure that the fatties only came in either black or tiger mags. I've never seen snakeskin magnum.
 
One went for a little over 700$ on the bay not too long ago. I should know; I got sniped by a filthy hog who shall remain nameless (forever) with 4 seconds left. I believe it went like this:

The first time I went for a Busse on eBay, jimmyjones beat me at the last moment. My first time getting Hog-stomped! :rolleyes: Then I emailed him congratulations, and we had a exchange of notes, he was helpful to a little piglet. :thumbup:

Now I just need to stomp him back! :D

A mint Fat SFNO with linen magnum slabs (especially green) might has well be a freakin' unicorn. It's gotta be that rare. Congrats :thumbup:
 
They look green, but I'm pretty sure those are black linen. The old school green linen had pretty definitive streaks of yellow, like the DSJ/ARK set U_J used to have. Still can't believe he sold that set.

And to Dunner: Way to rub it in, buddy! :grumpy:;)
