:D yea more fatwood, finally hauled out the last of the fatwood plank i have been harvesting the last few weeks. Total haul from the ONE plank of fatwood, after processing, complete drying out, and packaging for storage is around 65 lbs. All heartwood fatwood.....rough estimate of the wet wood was about 160 lbs, mostly water weight, moss, and outer wood that was sectioned off and burnt.

anyways, thats not what this post is about. Ok it is....kinda....

He who hunts fatwood now has a Blog entirely dedicated to, wait, yep, FATWOOD!

FATWOOD

:p :D :) :p :D :) :p :o

For the love man, when are you gonna start selling it so us chumps who can't get it ourselves can try it out? BTW - nice haul!

jesus christ you started a blog about fatwood.

you have enough to start selling the stuff for sure. i dont know what laws will be like but i bet you'd make some decent coin.

Seriously though, it's about time that you started up a blog on the stuff. You should build a throne out of the stuff--you're pretty much the grand marquis de fatwood at this point. :p

Sweet. fatwood soap!

ETA:

Typo found.
"Here i have shaved off some fatwood curls, you can see the resin in the wood. These curls will light even when when, and will burn quite aggressively even in wind."

Just a friendly heads up.

Smell better than that hippy patchouli, funny thing is a couple days ago I made the comment that I would love some fatwood soap. Who woulda thought someone actually makes it?! :D

It's got cinnamon leaf oil in it too to spice it up a bit--it's sort of like a woodsy bay rum. :)
