As everyone here knows, we all have extremly eclectic tastes in our knives, especially our slipjoints. and with so many different brands out there with so many different blade patterns i have begun to wonder not only which is everyone favorite slip joint itself, but there favorite in each of the blade configurations, and by this i mean the number of blades the knife has. SOOOOO, the question i pose is this...What is your favorite slipjoint that has the following number of blades, 4,3,2, and 1. If you dont own em no worries, just tell your favorite knife witht hat many blades that youd like to get. heres mine...
4: Dont have and have never really looked, but id choose a nice queen in stag congress. D2 and stag=winner to me.
3: my old timer 34ot without a doubt. SO a 3 1/4 stockman is great for me.
2: i have an affinity for trappers. Two huge blades in a small package? count me in. Im loving my Amber BOne CV Trapper from Case.
1: for single blade slippies, there arent may to choose from, but i gotta have stag on mine. flat ground is a plus. 3 3/4 is the way to go for me. Must be my northwoods scagel #11, though with a ray kirk scagel on the way this may be put on the backburner.
What about you guys? And remember, pictures to give us visual aid is ALWAYS welcome.
