I want to get a new A/O knife, i have been thinking about a kershaw shallot.
i really like the framelock and overall looks/features. i had a kershaw leek before but ended up selling it becuase of the thin tip and i wanted somthing a little bit bigger and more heavy duty.i have also had a sog flash 2, a kershaw scallion, a sog twitch 2 and a couple A/O knives but sold them for other knives, i dont know why i did.
Then the other day i relised that i had not 1 A/O knife.
so i want some thing between 3.5 - 4 inch blade size
and i will be using it for EDC and general use.
any opinions would be great,
Thanks

My favorite A/O knife so far has been the Kershaw Blur.

Zero Tolerance of any kind, they are all great and they open really fast with the Assisted opening.

BM Nitrous Stryker! D2 blade, Titanium liners, G10 scales and it´s solid as a rock!

I have had a longstanding dislike of A/O's, but I recently was able to fondle a BM 470 Emissary at a brick and mortar.

Though I could do without the A/O, the design is appealing. Now I'm just wrestling with whether or not it's worth half a small left-handed Insingo...

Blur and ZT 0400. both are amazing. they open smoothly and snap open with authority. the 0400 is just way more awesome, but slightly less practical.

I have several Kershaw Shallots and have been very pleased for the knife for the money. Both are very fast and have held up well. They're a bit heavier than my titanium handled knives and the handles are a bit smoother than I prefer but not really objectionable. There is absolutely no blade flex on either of them.

After owning several A/O knives, nothing has come close to this one. DDR HTM Gunhammer. Nothing opens as strong, built as robust, and locks as solid as this one IMO. Not the tinyest bit of blade play anywhere. When she opens, she opens with authority, hang on!! :D

(Only pic I have of the DDR is with my black rifle and Glock)
