Hey. I was wondering what your favorite big knife was, and what would you reccomend to someone on a 110 budget.

My favorite is a Busse Fusion Battle Mistress.

I hear the ESSE Junglas is a great knife and I think its within your price range.

My favorite big knife is my Busse FBM LE but that's way above your price range.

I ordered a Neoczen Camp Knife on July 5th and just got it in the mail the other day. I think it was approx $190 and I must say it was money well spent. I would of paid twice the price!

Mine is the Busse Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress.

I would recommend the Cold Steel Trail Master.

Probably Busse KZTT variant with fully serrated back. Out of the ones I have, Busse Mr. Mojo Le #888

If you are on a "110 budget" why not go with the 110? but I do like my "old" Al Mar Eagle with the ivory scales!
Peace

I like this recommendation. The only thing it doesn't have is a real guard, and it isn't forged, which I am a bit skeptical provides any real benefit compared with a competent heat treat.

It's a great camp knife design, for chopping, or for food prep (note there is no guard that extends below the cutting edge of the blade, so you can use it like a chef knife on a cutting board).

Maybe not a good "Fighter" design since it lacks a guard, but it's a great camp knife design at a fair price.

What do you consider big?

Folder or fixed?

A big folder can be 4" and a big fixed can be 8".

Is your price $110.00 or a Buck 110 price?

Man you guys need to stop showing me that Browning competition knife! ...I don't need to spend any more money .....But ....can't resist ...... I really think I'm going to have to buy one now!

Haha, that just looks like too good of a deal for a great knife like that. I like that there is no guard too. No sharp right angles where the blade meets guard, so less risk of snapping the blade off, like I've seen happen on some other bowies. o :)

Rajah 1 or II for hiking, Munk Chunk HI for camping and a ZT0200 for EDC (or SOG Twitch II in Sheeple friendly places).

Dunno - is a Becker BK-2 a big knife? If so, then that one. If not then my Ka-Bar kukri machete. Neither will break the bank.
