So what is your favorite buck knife to have and to EDC. I like the style of the buck 110, the looks, it reminds me of a kind of knife my grandfathers would use or my dad when he was a kid. Although it is rather big, I may get a 112 since it is smaller.

I also love the 119, I saw the knife and fell in love with the style. It also appears in the movie The Condemned with Stone Cold Steve Austin, which I like the fact of having a knife that appeared in a movie. :)

So what is your favorite buck knife and why?

I have two favorites to carry. One in a sheath on my belt and the other in my pocket.
The belt knife is a 111 that was a gift from my friend, Flatlander1963, that he rehandled in maple burl. The pocket knife is a 701, also a gift from Flatlander. He rehandled his own EDC in smooth buffalo horn and gave it to me. I've got lots I could be carrying, but those two are especially special to me.

Well,I have a friend who rehandled a 110 in Amboya burl w/ S30V drop pt.blade and nickle silver bolsters. Which I really like a lot and carry much of the time.He comes from Flatland,Miss..DM

Buck Odyssey, I regret the day that buck dropped this knife, perhaps in form the ultimate EDC mans knife and in the ATS 34 versions, as good as any 300 dollar knife. PERIOD

I carry a Tempest in my pocket and a AG 110 on my belt for EDC use. My favorite knives are made by Buck and I like them all!

My EDC is a 422OD bucklite... I got it about 25 years ago... I take it everywhere I go... Well, just about everywhere....

my favorite bucks are my vantage select large and my 119 special.they are my current hunting knives and i love the shit outta both of them.

Is the question necessary? The 110, of course!

PS I think the 192 would be second...

My favorite belt knife is my 102 Woodsman that my father gave to me in 1977. It has been carried & used more than any other knife I own. Pocket carry...some may laugh but my wood 371 stockman has been a very solid knife for the past 1 1/2 years. However...I just ordered a Sandvik Vantage last night!!!! I can not wait to give that a try. :D

AG s30v stag 110. Reason #1 because I love the 110. (its a all arounder knife, can do anything). Reason #2 because I love stag. Reason # 3 because wife and kids bought it for me for Christmas almost 3 years ago.

Darn near impossible to answer!!! I usually carry my Odyssey ATS-34 on a daily basis, but my sentimental fave is the 112 my wife bought for me when I completed Forest Fire training.

(all my favorite knives are Bucks)

What makes a knife a favorite, often comes with a story. My wife found a perfect spyderco in a parking lot in Anchorage and gave it to me for my B'day. Great find, nice gift...instant candidate for favorite edc. Since this is the the Buck forum, my current Buck edc also comes with a story. It is a Buck model 298 Sirus with the 154cm blade. When brand new, it had a liner lock problem. I sent it in to Buck and it came back exactly as I sent it to them. So far, not much of a story. It gets better when Joe Houser heard about it and personally shepherded my knife through the service dept. until it came back to me done right. Moral of the story and, what I think of every time I use the knife is...Buck is still a great American company and doesn't forget the little guy after they have our money. Great knife and it means more because I was treated with respect and listened to.

Buck 500 Duke but I only carry it to "nice" places so it stays in very good condition. I have edc'd a 100th aniv 110 for 10 years as fave but recently have developed a great affection for my Vantage Pro.(although I prefer lockbacks)
