So I don't think I am alone in carrying multiple knives on a daily bais. I try to choose knives that compliment one another being useful for different jobs, filling different requirements. For a long time I carried two delicas, one plain and one serrated. Spyderco zytel knives really got me started with this as they were super cutting tools but light enough to carry a few easily. So here are a few of my favorite combos:

delicas, SE and PE
Orange Rescue 93, Spyderfly
Goddard ltw pe, Psalt se
g10 standard se, spyderfly pe

I of course don't limit myself to carrying spydies, though I probably could do that and get by ok but I have kept this to favorite spydie combos. The combo I am waiting to try is a pmili with SE blade and an s30v native pe, this might be the one;-)>

how about the rest of you folks?

I used to carry a full-sized folder (first Buck Crosslock, then large CS Yoyager, then- for the longest time- Spydie Native) plus a very small fixed blade like a CS miniPal or Ready Edge.

For now, just a Spydie-currently a Yojimbo. (Woohoo!)

I carry a Manix and Dodo. Two great knives that go great together. :)

His is mine, really like this combo...

Dodo and Manix, nice. I really liked my dodo but haven't gotten a manix yet. Typically if I am going to carry something that heavy then its an fb. Along with the spydies there is almost always a sak.

I have purchased many Spydes the past 5 months, and I carry the Dodo every day with one other, either the Civilian , Manix or Cricket. I am looking to reprofile the Dodo to keep the "hawkbill" but making the rest straight back to the hilt.

Now that's a Combo that covers any task!

I have been carrying a Millie to back up my trusty G10 Rookie SE but the Manix has tempted me severely with her rugged physique and superb ergos. The Rookie is on her last legs. :( I did a satin bead blast to most of the blade and the clip to keep her lookin' sexy but she's finally developed a little blade play and stripped a couple of clip screw threads - Loctite won't last forever. Eric's Dodo IS the preferred replacement.

Hi,
I carried a Resuce for a long time.Later changed to an Endura SE,now carry an Endura PE and a Spyderco Moki SE.Always carry 2 knives.Over the years there was always a Buck 112,large Puma,Schrade,Cold Steel with the Endura. There is also a fixed blade Busse AD with me and a Victorinox single blade that is serrated.
Going to get a Manix soon or maybe just wait for the New Endura. The Endura is by far the most useful knife I have carried and the longest time period.
Beisdes I just plain like knives. When I travel there are more with me,and all my jackets have a spare as well as my truck.
Definately carry a few so you can enjoy the knives you own more. Not to mention when you get someone that wants to borrow your knife give them the work knife to use.

I have two EDCs. One is a plain edge Military. The other is a French Laguiole. I carry the Military because I want to, and I can. I carry the Laguiole because I get tired of hearing stupid comments from the sheeple.

I try to always carry one small and one medium spydie at the same time.
mainly Cricket and Uk penknife these days.

I rotate my carry based on environment, jobs to do, and plain knife-knut whimsy. One solid slot in the rotation is my PE Manix and SE blue Dodo. That's covered pretty much everything I've come across so far :D :D I'd like to add that the Manix really isn't that heavy or cumbersome for EDC as some seem inclined to think. Unless you're wearing really light weight pants, you forgot it's there after 1-2 minutes..... until you need it.

I have a real "Mutt & Jeff" team of pocket knives. I have a Spyderco Renegade and a Spyderco SE Dodo. What one won't do the other most often will. Now sometimes I give the Renegade a break and carry my big Spyderco Dyad. You only go around once in life so carry a Spyderco! ;)

As of last week my carry combo du jour is a PE Scorpius and a blue Yojimbo, with a SE SS Jester.

So tonight I walk into the kitchen with a Manix in one front pocket and a Dodo in the other. I get a favorite beverage out of the fridge and seeking a bottle opener reach into the pocket where my Vic Soldier usually resides.....Not there! Ya just can't win sometime....

I always have a serrated FRN Spyderco as a secondary carry in my waistband. Usually a yellow Atlantic Salt. Great knife.

My EDC combo is my Sebbie, a SE SS Cricket, and a BM 530(boot knife ;) ). The SS Cricket is the knife that I carry the most, though.....even use it as my home EDC. Light as a feather, but a tough lil' cutter!!

I have been carrying my bone Kiwi or cocobolo Kopa, and they've been doing pretty well. The Kiwi is always a great knife, but I love the flat grind of the Kopa, just wish the handle was a bit thinner. I'm soon going to be getting and EDCing a Manix, UK Pen Knife, and possibly a Military, Paramilitary, or Dodo. I've had those in the past and sold them, but now I miss them. I'm a big fan of the S30V/G10 models out of Golden.
I still carry my two small Sebenzas (one reg, one classic) and they're great solid knives, but I find the Spydercos to be much more effective at cutting, especially the flat grinds. Gotta love Mr. Glesser's philosophy of what a blade should be!
