I'm new to Kershaw thing. Just wanted to share with you my most recent favorite combo. The Needs Work is awesome. The easiest utility knife I have ever used. Used it to lay carpet last week:thumbup: One tough knife!

I like my Leek/Tyrade. The Tyrade for the bigger stuff, and the Leek for the smaller stuff. Perfect for a long hike the other day:

(edit: once I learn how to upload, I'll put it up!)

Around the house and town, a black PE Shallot serves most of my needs.

For camp, if I can't do it with my Lahar, a 110 and a Hudson Bay pattern axe, it can't be done. :)

I like the really straight edge on the Needs Work. I carry a Blur and a Leatherman Charge.

My typical combo is a Shallot or Speed Bump, and a Gerber Compact Multitool.

I also often carry a Scrapyard Yard Guard, as well (7" fixed blade).

My (current) EDC "combo." :D

...oh, plus a Gerber multi-tool and a Luma-Power M1 in the car.

I'm having a hard time getting these two out of my pocket lately. The large in the right front, and the small one in the left rear. No matter which hand may be busy, the other hand can always get to a Kershaw quickly:D

No guns boys? Tsk tsk.

Okay, fine. My usual load-out:

EDC-1.jpg

Scrapyard Yard Guard, in a Rainwalker IWB Kydex Sheath
Browning HiPower, .40 S&W w/ Crimson Trace grips
2 Extra Mags
Kershaw Shallot
Kershaw Speed Bump
Palm Centro & Motorola Bluetooth
Dorcy 120 lumen LED light
Tag Heuer Aquaracer (automatic)
Craftsman's Bench Cigar Case w/ 3 sticks (these change day-to-day)
Tiger dual-torch lighter, with punch cutters.

Of course... when I took this pic I forgot to add in the multitool.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer - Nice choice!

I wear my Dad's "hand me down" Seiko Sport 50 Kinetic about 100% of the time...its a bit worn, but it's all about character...I keep looking at Tags (that model is one of my favorites), but I dont know if I will retire the old man's watch any time this decade...

Its about 90% nostalgia, and 10% "I can spend that money on guns and knives"...

Right now I have a PE FL Leek on me with a Leatherman Blast on my belt. Oh, for my firearms friends a S&W M-640 in El Passo Saddlery leather.
