I vote for the Krait. Tactical (420V), yet acceptable. Also, very attractive (mother of pearl inserts). Puts new meaning into custom with its quality.

Everyday carry for me is the RJ martin Q30 Tactical folder. BG42 recurve blade, spyderhole, ergonomic handle. Next knife I want is either another Martin or a large model 4 from Kit Carson.

Of the customs that I've owned, my Scott Sawby combat-utility is my favorite folder.
My RJ Martin Kozuka is my favoite fixed blade, I'd love to have one of his folders too.

What I dream about: One of Michael Walker's
fantastic liner locks, an Emerson CQC6, a Bill Moran bowie.

I have to agree with FULCRUM,
The Krait is awsome!
Has to be my fav.

As of today it has to be my Rob Simonich talonite Wambli! Rob's craftsmanship is top notch and this blade is proving awesome. Kit Carson may be right....once you've experienced a cobalt alloy blade you may never go back to steel again!

I would have to say, my Kit Carson Large Hunter, 1/4" thick by 7" long, stellite 6K, with stellite guard and Ti bolts for the micarta handles. Its a true piece of work. I really like my Ken Onion Random Task as well.

My current faveorite is an A. T. Barr flat-ground liner lock (see pix 19 at http://www.customknives.com/fold6.htm. So, OK, it may not be perfect, but it's bead-blasted, so I'm not afraid to sharpen it, and it really feels good in the hand. It's large enough to do a good job on notching a 2X4, flat-cut for a good sweep draw-cut through a pasteboard box or canvas, holds an edge for a goodly time, and is pretty easy to sharpen with a Spyderco or EdgePro.
This is not the perfect knife - but it's the best I've found yet. I'm still looking.

Favorite everyday user: my Simonich Cetan tanto; a fine utility blade.

All around favorite: a damascus fixed blade (D'Cicci) he made for me. If it wasn't so darned pretty I'd use it more
