Favorite designer or knife maker.

I was watching videos of older knife makers today of which most are dead but they were talking about who influenced them and it made me wonder who influenced modern knife makers. People like ESEE, Busse, Bark River, and maybe designers from kabar and ontario and all others.

If your a knife maker who influenced you to get you to make knives and who influenced you to make the designs you make.

I like Al Mar and Bob Dozier designs.

Sal Glesser, Spyderco is my favorite. He has played this game and won it many times over the years.

I don't really have a favorite in terms of handmade stuff, but if I go with numbers Bob Dozier wins. I like his blades a lot and bought one most Blade Shows I attended after I "discovered" him. I have stopped for the time being with his stuff and buying knives made by other makers now.

Sal Glaser (sp?) distinguished himself with the Spyder hole. Initially I just didn't like the look, but they grow on you especially after you use them.
