I know this question has been asked before but I would like to see if any new knives have made the list.

My edc is always a sak of some sort and a second pocket knife like a Old Timer stockman or my old Hen and Rooster stag stockman. Once in a while I'll switch off the stockman for one of my European single blade work knives like a Douk-Douk, Opinel, Eye Brand sodbuster, or Swedish Eka.

For a fixed blade I use one of my Mora bladed Frosts of Sweden, or my old army issue Camillus MK2 I've had for almost 40 years. If I'm camping out there will be a 12 inch Ontario machete around.

Favorite folders, Delica, MT amphibian, Spydie g10 standard. FBs, emerson lagriffe, BRKT mcro canadien, li'l' loco

oh yeah and SAK of course.

At the moment, my favorite folder is the Spyderco Manix.
However, this is probably going to change when I get my Benchmade 806D2!!

As for fixed blades, I can't wait till I get my Swamp Rat Safari Skinner...

Well, I just opened up this beauty of a Sebenza,

and I think it's going to get some pocket time. :D

I just started EDCing a pair of Spyderco SS Crickets, one serrated and one PE. VG-10 recurve hawkbill blade is very versatile, and framelock is comparable to Sebbie.

I almost sound out of place saying it here, but I've always carried a swiss army knife--through middle school, high school, the Navy, and now--always a Victorinox in my pocket. Started out with a Mechanic, but the pliers really weren't worth the extra bulk so I 'downgraded' to tinker. -- which is one of the lighter models. I also carry a tiny Gerber paraframe -- and more often than not, a Buck Special--nothing fancy, but utilitarian in its own bulky right. I plan on replacing the Praframe and Buck with my incoming SOG Pentagon and Pentagon Elite, though. The Victorinox will not change, though.

whoa, nice pics so far..

can anyone post some in-hand shots of the manix? there's no shop in my neck of the woods has one for me to play with. & BOY am i eyeballing that thing.

absolutely beautiful. lol, i would NEVER use that, even to cut a loose thread. who did the work?

alan, I just bought it from Ritt here on the forums last week (great guy). The decoration is Matt Cuchiarra's fizz treatment with blue anodizing. It's my new baby.

My fav. folder is my Benchmade 805s TSEK.

My fav. fixed-blade is my Cold Steel Tai Pan, followed closely by my Cold Steel "new-style" Tanto.

What is this "new style" tanto I keep seeing references to? I went to the Cold Steel site and I see no such animal.

Sooo...wassup?!

I edc a benchmade 220 fixed blade.

edc folder would be the 806 if it werent for crazy CO laws.. Current favorite folder is my 722, though the 635 should eventually get here ;x

Either a Buck 110, or Spyderco Endura as my main folder. For back-up I carry either a small green handled Imperial lockback, or a S&W Phantom linerlock. for my multi-tool I carry either a Victorinox Tinker, or a Leatherman Kick. And If I'm going to tote a fixed blade, I carry either a S&W HRT boot knife, or a full sized Ka-bar brand USMC plain-edge combat knife.
And if I go somewhere where there is blade-Length restrictions, I carry my MiniBuck.

I think he means the Americanized style tanto that we see a lot of today, instead of the traditional Japanese tanto. But I could be wrong.

My Main EDC, as strange as it is, has become a Spyderco Merlin. When I bought it, I thought it'd hardly be used. But... the more I used it, the more I liked it, and since I've gotten used to it, I've carried it almost every day. Almost two years now.

Just ordered a Centofante III, and am eagerly awating its arrival.

At the moment my favorite folder is a Tom Mayo large TNT with a recurve blade. It is a great knife, and yes I do use it whenever needed. This might change though as I have a DDR EDC on order and that might give the TNT some competition for that spot.

My favorite FB carry knife is a Bob Dozier Personal. I usually carry it slipped into a pocket as I carry a cell phone on my belt where the Personal would normally ride. Also a top notch knife that can really work. I have no real need to carry a large FB knife, so something the size of the Personal works out great for me.

this is my list of current carriers:

Pocket-benchmade osborne axis with blue handle
Neck-Spyderco SPOT (sideways on belt
Fixed-Fallkniven A-1

I always have a leatherman and a large folder.
Right now its a Charge and a BM Skirmish.
