Favorite folders without finger grooves?

Any suggestions for one-hand opening folders with minimal grooves in the handles? My BM Dejavoo has fairly straight lines. I'm also considering the Cold Steel Hold Out. But I'd love to hear what knives you all might recommend. Is there a Kephart-style folder out there? Thanks in advance!

I got the hold out and it is very nice. I have the small 3" one and it is a heck of a slicer!

The skean-dhu blade shape cuts like a lot of spydercos.. surprisingly aggressive slicer, always seems to present the edge at just the right angle for maximum leverage

just curious, whats your beef with finger grooves?

Emerson CQC-7 if you feel like spending in the 100-150$ range. Nice knife, and after personally owning three emersons I can say it is my favorite model and probably one of the best made. The tanto really isn't a deal breaker, it functions fine for EDC, you just have to be more careful about sharpening it (i.e. treat it and sharpen separately from the main edge)

The lines are real straight and the design elegant and simple. It looks real clean closed up too. Quality all the way, locks up rock solid.

Res1cue, Thanks for your words on the Hold Out! I don't have a problem with finger grooves - many of my knives have them. Just looking to "diversify" the collection. But "edge up" cuts are harder with prominent grooves sometimes.

CLE - I've been looking at that Emerson for many months. Hard to find sometimes. I think I'd prefer the drop point, but that exact one would be just fine!

I don't know if that's already too many curves but my Benchmade 710 and 707 come to my mind... It's probably not the perfect geometry but it works for me and I really like the looks of those lines... ;)
The Chris Reeve Sebenza 21 is also a pretty straight-forward and simple design.

I'm with some of the above on the two Emersons (big fan of my 7's and A100), but they are also a bit tank like. I IWB when I wear a suit, and LOVE my Gerber Applegate Covert for the lines, and structure. It's no pry bar, but it would stick something fierce.

The Spyderco Gayle Bradley may be worth a look to you. The fit and finish is superb and the materials used are top notch. You'd need to care for the CPM-M4 blade a bit more than most stainless blades would require, but the performance is pretty spectacular.

Yeah man, they can be hard to find. I spent a solid 3-4 months looking for my first one. Now I just pull the trigger whenever I see them for sale. The drop point (or spear point is it?) cqc-7 would be my ideal knife. They are impossible to find new. Maybe emerson will do a new run sometime in the future... until then, good luck hunting!
